CCORT Canadian Cardiovascular Atlas

The CCORT team plans to develop and publish a Canadian Cardiovascular Atlas modeled after the Ontario ICES Cardiovascular Atlas. Dr. Jack Tu (Toronto), Dr. William Ghali (Calgary) and Dr. Louise Pilote (Montreal) are the Atlas Chief Editors.

The Atlas will contain multiple chapters including information on the burden of cardiac disease (specifically AMI and CHF), treatment strategies, and outcome patterns across Canada.

The proposed section topics, along with the section editors, for the Atlas are as follows:

Section 1: Population Health and Cardiovascular Disease across Canada
Editor: Dr. Doug Manuel (Toronto)

Section 2: Treatments and Outcomes following Acute Myocardial Infarction across Canada
Editor: Dr. Louise Pilote (Montreal)

Section 3: Treatments and Outcomes in Patients with Congestive Heart Failure or Atrial Fibrillation across Canada
Editor: Dr. Jafna Cox (Halifax)

Section 4: Cardiac Procedure Patterns and Outcomes across Canada
Editor: Dr. William Ghali (Calgary)
