Cardiovascular Research Day 2012
                                                            

The Cardiovascular Diagnostic Imaging program of ICES, led by Dr. Jack Tu, held its inaugural
Cardiovascular Research Day on June 20, 2012.  This full day event, kicked off by Dr. David Henry, President and CEO, ICES, involved a series of interesting sessions led by ICES scientists, alumni, and external partners. Keynote speakers included Dr. Ben Chan, President and CEO, Health Quality Ontario and ICES alumni, whose presentation was entitled "What new research do we need to support Ontario's quality agenda?" and Carolyn Pullen and Vince Bowman, Heart and Stroke Foundation, who provided an "Update on the Heart and Stroke Foundation Research Enterprise".
